Grazing light for soft edges
The Striplight Softbox of the Walimex pro Studio Line is a professional light shaper that lets you set a model apart from the background effectively. Product photographers use this softbox when they desire a long, narrow illumination with soft edges. This light shaper is also a great help when shooting in confined spaces. This Striplight Softbox is specially designed for on-location photography and is particularly compact, lightweight and easy to use. High-quality materials and allow for a fast assembly.

Ingeniously simple construction
No more complicated handling of bars and individual parts: The new Quick Assemble "QA" softboxes from the Walimex pro Studio Line can be set up very quickly and very easily, and of course can be dismantled and stowed away just as quickly after use. The ideal solution not only for photographers who need to make room in the studio quickly after shooting, but also for photographers who want to use the Striplight Softbox outdoors. Folded together and stored in its spacious carrying bag, the complete Striplight Softbox including softbox adapters (available separately for all flash systems), inner and outer diffuser and honeycomb or grid is so compact that it fits into any setup and is always at hand.
To assemble, simply place the folded Softbox on the floor with the Speed Ring / Softbox adapter facing downwards and open the Striplight Softbox like an umbrella until the holder in the umbrella bar audibly and noticeably clicks into place. Then turn the softbox over so that the speed ring is on top and mount the cover onto the four longitudinally arranged Velcro strips – so everything is tightly stretched and no unwanted light can escape laterally. The Quick Assemble System rightly bears its name and saves every photographer – beginner, amateur or professional – valuable time.

Connection to all flash systems and flash heads
The Striplight Softbox is connected to your flash system or flash heads via a Walimex pro Softbox adapter, which you can purchase separately for all flash systems. The Softbox adapter is then simply placed in the Speed Ring (quick-change bayonet) and fixed with the four screws – and the Striplight Softbox is ready for use with your flash head. The Softbox adapter can of course remain mounted for transport in the supplied carrying bag with shoulder strap. Another gimmick: The type of softbox and its size are printed on the various softbox carrier bags - so the tedious search for the right softbox in your light former pool is finally a thing of the past and you have the right light former at your fingertips with one grip.

Diffusors and grid included
In order to be able to use the Striplight Softbox for all desired light settings and to be completely free in the modelling of the image, three accessories are included in the standard delivery of the Softbox: Grid or honeycomb, inner diffusor and outer diffusor. The inner diffusor can be connected to the flaps provided in the middle of the softbox by means of sewn-on Velcro strips. The outside diffusor can be attached to the upper end of the softbox with its wide Velcro strip. There is still enough space around it to attach the grid or honeycomb. The assembly is quick, which gives the photographer more possibilities to experiment with the different inserts and attachments.
